Weatherford Police Report August 19, 2010

The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Wednesday 8-18-10 and Thursday 08-19-10.

Burglary of a Vehicle:
08-18-10, 100 E. 2nd St, a complainant reported that between 6:30pm and midnight unknown suspect(s) had entered into a vehicle without permission and stole a wallet and the face plate off of the in-dash stereo.

Criminal Mischief:
08-18-10, 1800 Rayna Dr, a complainant reported that between 08-11-10 and 08-18-10 unknown suspect(s) had damaged a sprinkler system by apparently cutting the wires on the sprinkler control box.

Credit Card Abuse:
08-18-10, 400 E. Akard St, a complainant reported that he had discovered that an unknown suspect by unknown means obtained his credit card number and used the number without his consent to make several purchases.

Burglary of a Building:
08-19-10, 1100 Palo Pinto St, at approx 2am Officers were dispatched to an alarm call at the Git –N-Go convenience store. Upon arrival Officers discovered that unknown suspect(s) had broken the front door of the business and entered without consent. Upon further investigation it appeared that the suspect(s) had stolen an undetermined amount of cigarettes from the business.

08-19-10, 1900 S. Main St, at approx 3am Officers were dispatched to an alarm call at the Tobacco Country store. Upon arrival Officers discovered that unknown suspect(s) had broken the front door of the business and entered without consent. Upon further investigation it appeared that the suspect(s) had stolen an undetermined amount of cigarettes from the business.
