Crime of the Week

Parker County Sheriff’s investigators are seeking the public’s help in solving a theft which occurred this weekend.

According to the property owner, two unknown suspects stole a Stihl backpack blower, two Stihl weed eaters, a Stihl chainsaw and an Echo weed eater from a trailer parked at his residence in the 600 block of Harmony Road, Saturday morning, August 7, 2010.

A witness observed a green or charcoal-colored, mid-sized SUV with two male suspects pull into the victim’s driveway around 9 a.m. The passenger of the SUV exited the vehicle and knocked on the front door and when there was no answer, re-entered the SUV and it backed up to the trailer and began loading the equipment.

The passenger was described as 6-foot-three or four inches, weighing about 240 pounds and wearing a green shirt. The driver was described as having a smaller, more average build.

Up to a $1,000 reward will be paid for any tips leading to the arrest and indictment of the suspects.
