Weatherford Police Department News Blotter August 10, 2010

The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department on Monday 08-09-10.

Theft:
08-09-10, 2600 E. Bankhead Dr, an employee of Bankhead Self Storage reported that between 07-28-10 and 08-04-10 unknown suspect(s) had stolen a 6’x10’ blue flatbed trailer from the parking lot of the business.

Criminal Mischief:
08-09-10, 400 E. Simmons St, a complainant reported that between 10pm 08-08-10 and 7am 08-09-10 unknown suspect(s) had damaged a vehicle by apparently shooting a window with a BB gun.

Burglary of a Building:
08-10-10, 100 I-20 East, an employee of Kohl’s reported that at approx 1pm an unknown male suspect had broken the front door of the business and entered the building without consent. The complainant reported that the suspect then broke a glass display case and took an undetermined amount of jewelry.

Assault:
08-09-10, 1700 Remington Circle, a complainant reported that during a disturbance he was approached by a known male suspect who punched him in the face with a closed fist. The complainant reported minor injuries due to the assault.

Harassment:
08-10-10, 400 W. Ball St, a complainant reported that she had been receiving numerous harassing text messages from a known male suspect.
