Parker County Commissioners Court Regular Agenda August 9, 2010

BE IT KNOWN, the HONORABLE COMMISSIONERS COURT of PARKER COUNTY, TEXAS, will convene in a REGULAR MEETING at 9:00 A.M. on MONDAY the 9th of AUGUST 2010 in theCOMMISSIONERS COURTROOM on the FIRST FLOOR of the COURTHOUSE, ONE COURTHOUSE SQUARE, WEATHERFORD, TEXAS, TO CONSIDER, DISCUSS AND/OR ACT UPON THE FOLLOWING AGENDA ITEMS:

1. ROUTINE BUSINESS: (a.) Certification of revenues as presented by the auditor; (b). Line item budget adjustments as presented by the auditor; (c.) payment of routine bills as presented by the auditor; (d.) prior approval/disapproval of purchases; (e.) approval of payroll, payments for insurance, retirement; (f.) report from County Treasurer on balances of all funds “1 thru 999”; (g.) accept, renew or reject bids; (h.) authorization to advertise bids for purchases as listed; (i.) accept or release pledged securities.

g. ACCEPT, RENEW, OR REJECT BIDS: (Deena Nichols/Judge Riley)

1. PC10-31 Used 2,000 Gallon Heavy Duty Water Truck for Parker County Precinct # 4.

2. PUBLIC HEARING:

a. Establish a speed limit of 35 miles per hour on Munn Road, Precinct #1 (Commissioner Conley)

3. PLACE INTO MINUTES:

a. Interlocal Agreement for Wise County Jail inmate housing.(John Forrest/Judge Riley)

4. REPORT:

a. Emergency Management update on participation in the City of Weatherford water emergency.(Judge Riley)
Compensation for employees who worked overtime.(Judge Riley)
Discussion regarding pay and days off for employees who worked the emergency and employees who did not work the emergency.(Judge Riley)

8. ROUTINE BUSINESS (j.) approval of minutes; (k.) personnel changes; (l.) unemployment appeal claims; 
(m. )reports from officials as listed; (n.) interdepartmental transfers of equipment and inventory reports. 

Adjournment.

NOTE: Commissioners Court may choose to convene into Executive Session items out of agenda sequence depending upon availability of counsel.
