Robert Othol Griffin

Griffin was born in Azle to Thomas Eugene Griffin, Jr. and Patricia Ann Steele Griffin Vernia. He attended Azle High School and TCJC in Fort Worth. Robert was extremely active in Suicide Prevention Teams and Grief Counseling Teams. As an accomplished artist, he was also a Pencil Art Instructor.
He was preceded in death by his father Thomas Griffin and step-father Larry Vernia.
GriffinSurvivors include mother Pat Vernia of Azle; son Christopher Robert Griffin of Gulfport, Miss.; Christopher's mother, Kimberly Goodwin; daughters Amber Dawn Griffin and Brittney Alexis Griffin both of Decatur; mother of his daughters, Rhonda Climer; brother Kwin Smith of Weatherford; sister Dianne Meinerts of Fort Worth; several nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
