County offices closed again Tuesday

Services curtailed for second day in wake of water main break

Parker County Judge Mark Riley has closed most county government offices in the City of Weatherford on Tuesday, Aug. 3 due to a water main break within the City of Weatherford.

This closure includes county offices in the following buildings in Weatherford: the Parker County Courthouse, the Parker County Courthouse Annex, Parker County Adult Probation Building, Parker County Agriculture Extension Building and the Parker County Justice of the Peace Precinct 2 Building.

The Parker County District Courts building may open at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 3.

43rd District Court Judge Don Chrestman said the morning docket has been cancelled and defendants scheduled for the 1:30 p.m. docket should call 817-594-7343 at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 3 to confirm if court will proceed.

415th District Court Judge Graham Quisenberry said his court will be closed on Tuesday.

County offices located in the cities of Springtown and Willow Park will remain open.

“Parker County continues to support the City of Weatherford with a variety of resources as they deal with this incident,” Riley said.
