Starting a small business

Randy Thomas from the Tarleton Small Business Development Center will lead a luncheon workshop on “Starting a Small Business,” hosted by the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce. The workshop will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, July 27 at Candlewood Suites, 215 Alford Dr. in Weatherford. Thomas will cover topics such as financing options, laws and regulations for starting a business, business plan writing process, accessing local, state and federal resources, and where you can get free, one-on-one help to get started. Box lunches furnished by Brioche Bistro & Bakery will furnish box lunches, $10 for Chamber members and $15 for non-members.
