The East Parker County Library is hosting an off-site summer reading event at 10:30 a.m. on June 30 at the historic A. J. Hood Pioneer Home, 1279 Jenkins Road, Aledo. Special presenter Kim Payne will talk about the history of early settlers in Parker County. For more information call 817-441-6545.
