Billy Mike Finch
Billy Mike “Smith” was born with his twin sister, to Mike L. C. Smith and Bessie Mae Burke on June 3, 1929, in Floydada, TX. Upon the death of both parents, the twins, Billy Mike and Betty Jean were adopted by their Aunt Jewel and Ore A. Finch. Billy graduated from Paschal High School in Fort Worth in 1946 and attended TCU, staying a loyal follower and fan throughout his life. He retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company (ATT) after 50 years of service. He enjoyed spending time working on his farm in Weatherford, raising and selling hay, gardening, tending to his critters and visiting with friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his birth parents, his adoptive parents, brothers, Wayne Smith and wife Joyce, Kenneth Leon Smith and wife Wynola, twin sister, Betty Jean Daughtery and husband Don, daughter, Marsha Leanne Williams and grandson, Michael Sean Windish.
Survivors: Wife Doris Lynn Finch, son Michael Dewayne Finch, Gary Joe Finch, Larry Jack Finch, Gary Grey Finch and wife Brenda of St. Paul NC, daughter, Pamela Gail Windish of Fort Worth, daughter, Patricia Carol Sandoval and husband Mark, stepson, Ernie Bovio and wife Holly of Georgetown, stepson, Steve Bovio and wife Beth of Weatherford, brother in law, Charles Cole and wife Ladonna of Austin, grandchildren, Katrina, Leticia, Jessica, Lara, Brandon, Caleb, Heather, Erin, Rebecca, Stephen, John Lilly, Amanda, Kenneth and Dusty, 11 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great nephews and his critters, Max, Chuy and Buddy.
