Rusty Burson and the Aggie Yell Leaders will team up with the Parker County Aggie Moms’ Club on Saturday, July 24 to provide an evening of entertainment and fund raising for a student scholarships.
The sixth annual Howdy Party will run from from 6-8 p.m. at the Doss Heritage Center in Weatherford. Steeped in tradition, the event celebrates the beginning of the 2010-2011 school year. The entire community, Texas A&M University fans, current and future students, and alumni are all invited.
Rusty Burson with 12th Man Magazine will speak on Aggie football. Also on hand will be the Texas A&M Yell Leaders. A live auction will feature Aggie football tickets and NASCAR tickets along with a silent auction and refreshments. Proceeds from the Howdy Party benefit the Parker County Aggie Moms Scholarship Fund. There is no charge for admission.
The Aggie Moms Club strives to create an environment of support for Parker County students who attend Texas A&M and to welcome students and new Aggie moms to the organization.
