Wanda was born on September 27, 1930 to Virgil Elmer and Alba Mirtie Jones McCarty in Weatherford.

Wanda was preceded in death by husbands Jimmy Hemphill and H. C. “Bud” Gilmore and a son, Jarvis Hemphill.

Survivors include her daughter, Judy Spradlin and husband Jerry of Weatherford; son, Jerald Hemphill and wife, Robin of Longwood, Florida, 9 Grandkids, 32 Great Grandkids, 3 Great Great Grandkids and a host of loving friends and relatives.
