AHS Ladycats vs. Springtown at Aledo;

9th, 5 p.m.
Recently some Aledo students decided they would make it a habit to wave at every Aledo bus driver as they passed. They were impressed at how often driver Peggy Kennedy waved back, and then she started waving first as she recognized their car. The students chose to paint the pictured sign to tell her. Old buildings and sign space in Aledo have been painted and repainted for years and years. But this may be the first time an Aledo ISD bus driver has received kudos on one! Mrs. Kennedy, driver of bus 22, has driven for the District for more than five years. Always smiling and friendly, Peggy often waves to those she passes, and they often wave back.
Peggy was surprised to see the pictured sign, and even more surprised it wasn’t painted by the riders on her bus. Gabe and Joel Bogdanoff, and friends Brittany Cranford and Kelly Mintor, enjoy their daily enchanges with Mrs. Kennedy and other drivers around town. Mrs. Kennedy is just one of the smiling faces behind the wheel of Aledo buses. Give them a wave!
