Joe was born December 14, 1937 in Weatherford to Albert Bradford and Lena Maye Gilley Smith. He was a life time resident of Parker County.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors: wife, of 50 years Jeanne Smith; son, Brad Smith; grandson, Brandon Lee Smith all from Springtown; and a host of family and friends.
