Virginia was born December 19, 1940 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to Roy and Trula Eden. She was married to her loving husband Gus Barnett for 43 years.

Virginia loved to be outside so she could enjoy all of God's creations. She enjoyed fishing and cooking for her family. She never met a stranger and never ran out of love for her family and friends. She was the foundation of her family and no matter what life threw at her she found a positive way to get through it.
Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dennis and Charles Eden; sisters, Dorlis, Sue, Dorthy, Shirley and Sharon Eden, and grandson, Dakota Barnett.

Survived by husband, Gus Wesley Barnett; brothers, Jerry Eden and Bill Eden; sons, Michael Cooper and Bubba Barnett; daughters, Lelia Eden, Kathy Willis, Jackie Rennels, Pamela Cooper, Paula Cooper and Patricia Barnett; exteneded family Jessie Gonzales, Becky & Kenny Williamson; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
