Charles was born June 2, 1927 in Monroe, La. to the late Lang and Lizzie Bell Lipsey.

Survivors: son, Jeff Lipsey; special friend, Gloria Thompson and her grandchildren, Blake, Hayden, Kyleigh, Landon and Connor.
