I am Officer J. Welborn 58 and I am currently assigned to WISD as a school resource officer. On Wednesday 10/12/2011, I was on duty at Weatherford High School located at 2121 Bethel Rd. Weatherford Texas 76086 when I was contacted by Assistant Principle Tammy Addison who stated that a student came to her requesting help because she and her mother have been assaulted by a family member. A report was made for assault/domestic violence.

On Wednesday October 12, 2011 around 3pm, officers were disptached to a possible rolling domestic at S Main and I20. A witness said that a white male was driving a small green vehicle with a white female's leg hanging out the passenger door. Officer's arrived to the area but could not locate the vehicle. Around 3:20pm, officers were dispatched to the area of 700 Red Oak Ln where a white female was on the phone stating she feared for her safety and had been assaulted by her husband. Officer Stagner arrived in the area quickly but the suspect fled on foot and could not be located. Officer Stagner determined this was the same victim that the witness called about earlier. Upon arrival I contacted the complainant Jeff Coffey. The subjects then ran out to a waiting white four door car driven by a third unknown subject and left. A theft report was made.
