On 10-03-11 at about 0800 hours, I (Officer T. Johnson 19) was dispatched to a truck stop in the 2100 block of Old Dennis Rd, to meet with John A. Riise W/M 61 years old. Riise reported that sometime during the night, an unknown person cut the lock on his refrigerated trailer and stole some of the freight. He stated that the freight was food product. A burglary report was completed.
On 10-3-11 at approximately 0826 hours I, Officer D.L. Morton # 72, was dispatched to 101 College Park Drive on a criminal mischief call in reference to an ATM that had been spray painted. Upon arrival at 101 College Park Drive at approximately 0829 hours I met with the reportee, Kent Hudson (w/m 49yoa), who advised that between approximately 1800 hours on 9-30-11 and 0730 hours this date an unknown person or persons without consent printed the name "SLIM" across the front of the ATM machine located on the northwest corner of the property. A report was made.
On 10.03.2011 at approx 0910hrs reporting officer C Brown #74 observed a vehicle traveling east in the 1800 block of E Bankhead. The vehicle's speed was checked at 51 in a 35 MPH zone and a traffic stop was initiated. A records check showed Leon "Craig" Slovak (w/m 42yoa) had an outstanding warrant out of Tarrant County Sheriff's Office for Theft by Check $500-$1500. After confirmation on the warrant, Slovak was taken into custody without incident.
Reporting officer (Hansen) met with complainant who advised that a suspect had cashed a check on her bank account using complainants identifying information without their consent.
On Monday October 3, 2011 around 1:30pm Sgt Rudolph spoke with an adult white female at WPD who had been assaulted by a family member. The female stated the family member yelled and screamed at her, then assaulted her while they stayed at a local hotel, this occurred in the evening of Saturday Oct 1, 2011. There were visible injuries and a report was made. No arrest(s) have been made at the time of this report.
On 10-3-2011 I (B Pool #69) was dispatched to a business in the 1800 block of S Main St. I arrived on scene and made contact with the reporting party, Elizabeth Hall (W/F 23yoa) Hall advised she witnessed a W/F in a white SUV put approx $60.10 in gasoline into the vehicle and then leave the scene without paying for the gasoline.
On 10-4-2011 I (B Pool #69) was dispatched to the 800 block of Santa Fe in reference to an Assault By Threats call. I arrived on scene and made contact (via telephone) with the victim, who advised a known person left her a voice mail and threatened to assault her in that voice mail.
