On 09/22/2011 at approximately 1258 hours, Reporting Officer J. Holcomb # 76 was radio dispatched to the Weatherford Police Department, located at 801 Santa Fe Dr., in reference to identity theft. On arrival, I met with the complainant/victim, Brittany Carter, who advised she received a bill in the mail on 09/21/2011 stating she owed a company money for a loan. Carter stated she never took out a loan with this company, therefore contacted the company to question the bill. Carter stated the company advised her someone used her personal identifying information to obtain a loan for $800.00. A report was made for Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information.
On 09/22/2011 at approximately 1555 hours, Reporting Officer J. Holcomb # 76 was radio dispatched to the Weatherford Police Department in reference to a theft report. Upon my arrival, I spoke with the victim, Jimmy Pounds, who advised sometime between 08/25/2011 and 09/15/2011 his circular saw was stolen from the front porch of his residence, located at 1014 Franklin St. Pounds valued the saw at approximately $ 100.00. A report was made for Theft 50-500.
On 09/23/2011 at approximately 1045 hours, Reporting Officer J. Holcomb # 76 was radio dispatched to contact a complainant in reference to a theft. Upon making contact, I spoke with the victim, one Webb, Ronald, w/m, who stated sometime between 09/19/2011 and 09/21/2011 the license plate was stolen off of his trailer while it was parked on Lynn St. Webb was unable to provide an exact location on Lynn St. A report was made for Theft 50-500
09/23/11 Cpl. Wright and Officer Morton were dispatched to 100 Cottonwood St in reference to a suspicious person call. On arrival Officer Morton ID'd the subject as Randall Alan Taylor. A routine computer check showed Taylor to have an outstanding felony parole warrant. Taylor was arrested and transported to the Parker County jail where he was booked in for the warrant.
09/23/2011 At approximately 13:04 hours this date, reporting officer J.Shelley was dispatched to 318 S. Walnut to meet with Cody Wynne, w/m, regarding burglary of a building at this address. Wynne reported that the residence belongs to his wife's uncle, Wade Graves and that he was returning some items of Mr. Graves' to the residence. Mr. Graves has been in rehab in Ft. Worth for several weeks and was to return home this date. Mr. Wynne reported that when he came to the residence at approximately 12:40 hours this date, he observed that unknown person(s) had damaged the rear door of the residence in an attempt to gain entry. Having been unable to make entry through the door, unknown person(s) had removed a window screen from the rear window, opened the window, and made entry. No items appeared to have been taken and the house was not ransacked or in disarray. A report for burglary of a habitation was made.
