On 09-07-11 at approx 0855 hrs I, Ofc Beniak observed a dodge pickup truck traveling East in the 200 blk of W Bridge St. As the vehicle slowed down I observed the left brake light to be inoperable on the vehicle. I activated my overhead lights and initiated a traffic stop. The driver, identified as Cody Wilfong (w/m 25yoa), provided a Texas driver's license that showed to be suspended. Wilfong verified that he had previously been convicted of DLWI. Wilfong was taken into custody for DWLI.
On Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at 1324hrs, I, Ofc S. Chalmers 61, was dispatched to the 1400blk of S Main St in Weatherford, Texas, in reference to a hit and run accident. When I arrived on scene, I made contact with Linda Miller (45yoa wf) who advised that a red pickup occupied by two white females had struck her gray, 2008, Chevrolet Malibu, and fled the scene north bound on S Main St. A report was taken for leaving the scene of an accident.
On Wednesday, September 7, 2011 I, Ofc. D. Feare #59, was disaptched to 1801 S Main St., Weatherford, Parker County, Texas in reference to a theft of air conditioning unit parts. When I arrived I met with complainant Hang Qin Lin (A/M 34yoa), who told me the parts were taken by an unknown person(s) sometime between 16:00 on Sunday, September 4, 2011 and 13:30 today when he was notified of the theft. I was told the parts were worth an estimated $11,500. A theft report was made for this incident.
On September 7, 2011 at approximately 1751, Corporal Goff with the Weatherford Police Department was dispatched to 312 W. Bridge in reference to a theft. Upon arrival Goff was contacted by the victim, Dianne Shahan Smith (w/f 67yoa). Smith stated that sometime between the hours of 1800hrs and 1900hrs on September 6, 2011 a known white female had unlawfully appropriated approximately 76 pills of Smith's Hydrocodone pills (value $32.60) without Smith's consent and to deprive Smith of her medication. A report was made.
On Wednesday 09/07/11at approx. 6:40pm Sgt Laine (R/O) spoke with a complainant, identified as Marie McElroy (w/f 41yoa), in reference to a theft that had occurred at 2121 Bethel Road on this date. She advised that her juvenile son's cell phone and watch had been removed from the football locker room without his permission. She advised that the phone was valued at $179.00 and the watch was valued at $50.00. A theft report was taken.
On September 7, 2011 I, Ofc. T. Bramow 78 was dispatched to 204 Atwood Ct in reference to a vehicle burglary. Upon arrival I made contact with a Morgan Smith (wf 18yoa) who advised me that between the hours of 1530 and 2000 her wallet had been taken from inside her vehicle a 2010 Dodge Avenger without her permission or consent. There was no damage done to the vehicle. A report was taken for burglary of a vehicle.
On Wednesday 09-07-2011 at approximately 21:40 hours reporting officer (Taber 77) was dispatched to 110 E. Third St. in reference to a burglary of a habitation. On arrival I met with the complainant. Keith Sterling Conrad (w/m 47yoa). Conrad advised that sometime on 09-07-2011 between 09:00 hours and 17:00 hours, a person , possibly known to him, took a shovel and pried the front door open making entry into the residence without his permission or consent. Conrad advised that $400.00 in cash and coins, a Cobra digital camera valued at $100.00, a bracelet valued at $70.00, miscellaneous jewelry valued at $25.00, and a booklet of First Financial personal checks was taken. A report was made for Burglary of a Habitation.
On September 7, 2011 at approximately 2232hrs Officer Bramow and Corporal Goff with the Weatherford Police Department were dispatched to 512 Palo Pinto in Weatherford, Parker County, Texas in reference to an assault. Upon arrival Goff made contact with Jhonny James Harwell (w/m 19yoa). Harwell stated that while he was in the parking lot of 512 Palo Pinto he was struck three to four times in the face with a closed fist by his white male roommate, which caused Harwell pain. A report was made.
On September 7, 2011 at approximately 2340hrs Sgt. Laine, Corporal Goff, and Officer Tabor with the Weatherford Police department were dispatched to 711 Santa Fe Dr. in reference to a white male wearing no shirt and black shorts walking around the apartment grounds with a firearm. Upon their arrival it was determined that Dylan Scott Kent (a convicted felon, w/m 20yoa) was unlawfully possessing of a firearm. Kent was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a firearm and taken to the Parker County Jail where he was booked in. A report was made.
