Although not televising the Aledo-Lake Travis football game, FOX Sports Southwest continues its new Friday night high school football lineup this week on location from Bearcat Stadium on Friday, Sept. 9.

The game is the marquee matchup of Fox Sports Southwest High School Football Friday, a partnership with Dave Campbell’s Texas Football magazine, which features four consecutive hours of live high school football programming each week spread over three shows from 7-11 p.m.

Programs include Football Friday Live, a 30-minute preview show from 7-7:30 p.m. that breaks down the marquee matchup and other big games across the state; Football Friday Blitz from 7:30-10:30 p.m. featuring highlights, live reports and updates from significant games around the state; and Football Friday Overtime from 10:30-11p.m. that will recap the night’s action from all areas of the state.

The shows this week will originate from a set located outside of Aledo’s Bearcat Stadium and will be hosted by Austin sportscaster Jeff Power and Texas Football managing editor Travis Stewart. Sideline reporter Jamie Ratliff will provide updates from the game inside the stadium.

This week’s shows will be carried on FOX Sports Southwest and FOX Sports Houston.

Chris Childs, a resident of Aledo, is TV Director for the production.

Earlier in the day, the ESPN Randy Galloway Show will broadcast from Railhead BBQ in a fund raiser for Aledo Children’s Advocats and youth sports. For more information about that broadcast, visit http://www.community-news.com/node/3303
