From Bush Legacy Republican Women:
Clear Fork Station’s Banquet Hall in Willow Park will be transformed into a “Speak Easy” on August 27th as Bush Legacy Republican Women step back in time for a Casino party. Ladies clad in fringe and feathers as Flappers and men in their dark suits and fedora hats will have a Casino Party and silent auction to raise funds for the upcoming political activities in Parker County. Local citizens will come as Al Capone, James Cagney, and Elliott Ness. Steve Markwardt will be the emcee and provide the 1920s music. When you purchase your tickets you will be given a password for entry. Tickets are $50 each if you get them early. They will be $60 at the door.
Rebecca Gaddus is chairperson of this event. You won’t want to miss it. Using “play money” you can still win nice prizes. Deborah Camp will entertain by playing a vintage piano. The food will be delicious. A Roaring Good time is expected by all but watch out for Elliott Ness and the bouncer! If you want to go, contact 817-233-6339. Tell them Rick sent you. You will be glad you did.
