Barbara was born June 24, 1932, in Shreveport, La., the daughter of O.C. and Nocal Frisbie. After the death of her husband, Harold R. Cain, she returned to Texas Wesleyan University and received a degree in mass communication-radio and TV. She then went to Denver, Colo., where she graduated from Denver Paralegal Institute. Upon returning to Fort Worth she passed the exams to become a certified legal assistant and worked for many years for J. Shelby Sharpe as his paralegal. She was a member of Christ Chapel.
Survivors: Barbara and Harold deeply loved their family, which includes their children, Beverly Walls of Amarillo, Susan Holland of Aledo and Douglas Cain of Midland; grandchildren, Carrie Walls Carrington, Katie Walls, Cassie Walls Fehnert, Kellie Walls Miller, Hayley Holland, Brittney Holland, Anna Cain and Travis Cain; great-grandchildren, Isaac Carrington, Emilie Anne Carrington and Lexie Miller; sister, Marguerite Molder; and brother, Wes Frisbie of Tolar.
