On, 8-8-11, I, Officer Meza, was dispatched to the 1300 blk of E Bankhead in reference to a burglary of a habitation. The complainant, identified as Kandiss Redding (w/f 28yoa), stated that she was missing several items from her residence. At this time it appears that a back door of the residence was the method of entry. The complainant gave provided me with the names of two suspects who she thinks might have been involved. Crime scene was called for photographs and fingerprints. No arrests have been made at this time.
08/08/11 Cpl. Wright was dispatched to 214 Woodcrest St in reference to a theft. On arrival Cpl. Wright met with the complainant /victim Joyce Kay Fincher (w/f 69yoa). Fincher advised that sometime between 05/08/11 and 08/05/11, unknown person without her consent, entered into her home and stole 2 rings. Fincher does feel that they were stolen while someone was inside her home with consent and appropriated the rings while there. A report for theft was made.
On Monday 08-08-11 at about 10:32 reporting officer (Vinson #26) observed a black Chevy PU traveling in the 1700 block of Texas Dr with an expired motor vehicle inspection sticker. I initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and Ricardo Escalante (w/m 21yoa) was identified as the driver. Escalante was operating a motor vehicle on a public roadway during a period in which his driver's license or privilege was suspended or denied under any law of this State. Ricardo Escalante was arrested for DWLI.
08/08/11Cpl. John Wright was dispatched to 100 Ikard Ln. in reference to a criminal trespass complaint. On arrival Cpl. Wright met with the reporting person,Tiffany Bagwell (w/f 37yoa). Bagwell advised that today a known suspect came onto the property having already been warned in March 2011 not to come back onto the property. A report for Criminal trespass was made.
