Weatherford Police Department News Blotter August 7, 2011

At approximately 09:23 on Sat. Aug. 6, 2011 Officer J. Shelley - 63, was dispatched to 315 E Josephine to meet with Mr. Rodney Crawford (w/m 62yoa) of that address regarding an incident involving unknown person(s) striking his 2010 Ford F-150 PU while parked in his driveway with a beer can, breaking the passenger side exterior rearview mirror.Crawford reported hearing the incident take place at approxamately 02:30 hours this date but was unaware of what had happened until he discovered the damage at 09:00 hours. A report for criminal mischief was taken.

On 08-06-2011 at approx 1057hrs. I was dispatched to a residence in reference to a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, I met with the complainant Ryan Hunt (w/m 21 yoa) who advised that unknown subject(s) had taken his vehicle (white 2002 Dodge pick-up) sometime between 0500 hrs. and 1000 hrs, on this date. He stated that he did not give anyone permission to take his vehicle and he did wish to file charges as the actor(s) had knowingly operated another's motor propelled vehicle without the effective consent of the owner. An unauthorized use of a vehicle report was taken.

On Saturday 08/06/11 Officer J. Shelley - 63 was dispatched to the North Richland Hills Police Department, 7301 NE Loop 820, North Richland Hills, TX to transfer a prisoner, ID as Steven Anthony Woodall (w/m 26yoa) to Parker Co. Jail on outstanding WPD traffic warrants.

On 08-06-2011 at 17:38 hrs, CPL Goff, Officer Bramow, and I (T.Wainscott) officers with the Weatherford Police Department were dispatched to a domestic disturbance call at 202 College Park. Upon arrival it was determined that a mother and daughter (both W/F 45yo and 64 yo) had been assaulted by each other (by scratching each other's arms). No arrest was made and the 45 yo female left with her boyfriend to their residence in Parker County. A report was made for assault causing bodily injury.

On 08-06-2011 at 2000hrs Corporal Goff and Officer Wainscott with the Weatherford Police department were dispatched to 313 Clark ave in Weatherford, Parker County, Texas in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival it was determined that Denay Binie (21yo W/F) had assaulted her mother, Devi Ludewell (49yo W/F), by striking Devi four times with a closed fist in the left arm (which caused Devi pain and visible injuries). Denay was arrested and taken to the Parker County Jail, where she was booked in for the assault. A report was made.

On 08-07-2011 at approximately 216hrs Sgt. Laine, Corporal Goff, and Officer Wainscott with the Weatherford Police Department were dispatched to 306 Sweetwater in Weatherford, Parker County, Texas in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival officers determined that Mathew Chappell (W/M 25 yoa) had rammed his red Ford truck into his girlfriend's red Hyundia vehicle while she was still inside the Hyundia. The girlfriend, Brittany Kelsoe (w/f 24yoa), advised that she did have pain from the collision to her neck, back and head area. Mathew was arrested and transported to the Parker County Jail where he was booked in for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (the motor vehicle). A report was made.
