Boswell scored eight unanswered runs on its way to an 8-3 win over the Aledo Bearcats Saturday night in a District 6-4A second-place tiebreaker game at Saginaw High School.
The Bearcats will assume the district's third seed and play Lake Dallas - the second seed from District 5-4A - next week in a best-of-three bi-district playoff series. Bi-district playoffs begin on Thursday, May 6.

The Bearcats jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Rylan Riney reached on an error and scored on a double to right-centerfield by Matt Bishop.
Boswell pitcher Dylan Swindell, who earned the win, walked three batters in the opening frame and hit another. During the inning, both Bishop and Zack Scott (who reached on a walk) scored from third base on wild pitches as Aledo forged an early three-run lead.
However, Boswell came back with three runs to tie the game in the bottom of the first. The big hit in the inning was a solo homer by Jacoby Stone.
Boswell cut the lead to 3-2 when Keeton Crosby doubled and was driven in a batter later by Brandon Troxell. The Pioneers tied the score on an unearned run as Troxell crossed the plate after Caden MacNeill reached on an error.
Boswell took the lead for good with a run in the second inning. Stone walked and was driven home a batter later on a triple by Jean Ramirez.
The Pioneers added a pair of runs in the third and a run each in the fifth and sixth innings to close the scoring.
Ryan Talley was the starting pitcher for AHS and took the loss. Ryan Conn came on in the third inning and pitched 3 1/3 innings of relief.
