On this date, at about 0656 hours, John Hackett of 1230 W. Water called and reported that an unknown red substance was on his wife's 2011 Ford Fusion car that was parked in the car port. The incident occured sometime the previous night. A Criminal Mischief Report for Substantial Inconvenience was completed by Officer T. Johnson.
On 07-31-11 at about 1048 hours, I (Officer T. Johnson 319) was dispatched to 1439 W. Water St to meet with Bridget Daniel who wanted to report that her safes had been stolen that morning, and a large amount of cash and credit cards were in the safes. A Theft report was completed.
On 07.31.2011 at approximately 1520hrs reporting officer C Brown #74 was dispatched to handle a theft by public service. I made contact with Christalyn Mahan of Millsap TX who reported her wallet which contained several negotiable instruments and cash had been taken from her purse between 1330hrs and 1500hrs this date, by unknown subject(s), without her permission while shopping in WalMart, 1836 S Main. A report was taken.
On 07.21.2011 at approximately 1630hrs, reporting officer C Brown #74 was dispatched to 122 E Interstate 20 (Target) in reference to shoplifting. Upon arrival I met with Jeremy Cohn, Assets Protection Leader who advised he was detaining two people who had concealed $37.97 in clothing items and had passed all points of sale without attempting to pay for the items thereby depriving Target of it's assets. I cited a white male, 19 YOA and a 15 YOA juvenile female for theft under $50.00. The adult male was released from the scene; the juvenile was released to her parent.
On 7-31-2011 I was dispatched to the 800 block of Santa Fe in reference to an assault victim. I arrived on scene and made contact with the victim (Dustin Vanlandingham) who advised an unknown person punched him in the mouth one time with a closed fist.
On 8-1-2011 I (B Pool #69) was dispatched to the 900 block of Vine St in reference to a civil dispute between a citizen and a repo man. I arrived on scene and made contact with the parties involved. One of the parties (Timothy Field) advised the other party hit him one time near his left ear. This caused Field to feel pain.
