07-25-11 reporting officer (Hansen) met with complainant Rama Brown who advised that some unknown suspect had tried to open credit in her name. The suspect appeared to be in Florida. The credit was denied and there was no monetary loss. The attempt was found with a credit check from AAA. No further information.

Officer E. Warren spoke with Philip Lee Brooks in the lobby of the Weatherford Police Department, in reference to a theft. Mr. Brooks indicated that an unknown person used his debit card number, without his consent, to make four purchases in Pennsylvania, between Saturday 07-23-2011 and Sunday 07-24-2011. A report for fraudulent use or possession of identifying information was taken.

On this date at approximately 1030hrs, I reporting officer C Brown #74 was dispatched to 1836 S Main St in reference to counterfeit money. Upon arrival I met with an employee who wanted to report the passing of counterfeit money by unknown subjects. Walmart's loss between 06.21.2011 thru 07.25.2011due to the fraud was approximately $370. A report was taken.

On Monday 07-25-2011, Officer E. Warren spoke with David Witt by telephone, in reference to fraudulent charges to his checking account. Mr. Witt indicated that he was contacted by First National Bank in regards to charges made over the weekend in Pennsylvania. An offense report for fraudulent use or possession of identifying information was taken.

On Monday, 07-25-2011 at approximately 2025 hour, I, Officer Matt B. Windham #67 was dispatched to 214 Kathey Drive in reference to a burglary of a building. Upon arrival, I met with the complainant who was identified as Rodney Peugh. Mr. Peugh stated that between 05-25-2011 and 07-21-2011 uknown suspect(s) illegally entered onto his property and once on the property broke into several buildings. Mr. Peugh stated that once inside various buildings, the suspect(s) deprived him of several pieces of copper, several hand tools and other hand held tools. Mr. Peugh advised that he did not allow anyone to remove the property and wanted a report filed. I advised Mr. Peugh stated that I would be creating a report for Burglary of a Building.

On 07/25/2011 at about 2343 hours, Sergeant Whitford (I) was dispatched to an alarm call at the AMT Food Mart located at 802 Palo Pinto Street, Weatherford, Texas. Upon arrival at about 2344 hours, I observed that the front door glass had been broken. I further determined that the door glass was still intact and that no one has made entry. It was determined that the front door glass is valued at $500.00. A criminal mischief 500-1500 report was made.

On 07/26/2011 at about 0502 hours, Corporal Hanna located a broken door glass at the AMT Food Mart located at 802 Palo Pinto Street. Hanna advised that it had just occurred. Sergeant Whitford (I) drove to the location and found that the alarm had not been activated until we entered the building to clear the building. A second criminal mischief report was made.
