On July 24, 2011 at approximately 1100 I, Ofc. T. Bramow 78 was dispatched to 499 E Eighth St. in reference to a criminal mischief that had been committed. Upon arrival I noticed two playground sets that had been damaged. Photographs of the scene were taken. A report for Criminal Mischief 1,500<20,000 school property was taken.
On 07/24/2011, at 14:12hrs, I, Officer T.Wainscott 79, was dispatched to a criminal mischief call at 1209 Mikus Rd in Weatherford, Texas. Upon arrival I spoke with an employee of the Crown Valley Golf Club, who advised he had found a Yamaha Driver golf cart submerged in the creek by the #5 tee box and the old putting green area of the Crown Valley Golf Club located at 1209 Mikus Rd in Weatherford, Texas. The cart replacement was valued at $8000.00. The Crown Valley Golf Club employee said that they do wish to pursue charges for State Jail Felony criminal mischief causing monetary damage greater than $1500 but less that $20.000 to the golf cart without their effective consent. There are no suspects information at this time.
On July 24, 2011 at approximately 1608 I, Ofc. T. Bramow 78 was dispatched to a reckless driver entering the city on Zion Hill Rd. The vehicle was being followed by the complainant who observed him strike a vehicle while making a turn. The vehicle failed to stop and attempt to exchange information and continue to 619 Palo Pinto where it stopped. I arrived on scene as the vehicle was turning into the parking lot. The driver identified as Benjamin Hampton, wm 22, and the passenger was identified as Samuel Cornell, wm 21. Hampton was placed under arrest for Accident Involving Damage >=$200.00 and Cornell was placed under arrest for warrants out of Parker County SO. Both were transported and booked into Parker County Jail.
On Sunday, July 24, 2011 at approximately 2230 hrs Weatherford Police Corporal Goff and Officer Watson were dispatched to respond to a domestic disturbance in the 1600 block of Remington Circle. Upon arrival Scruggs, Elizabeth A. W/F 28 reported that she had been assaulted by her common law husband who had fled the scene prior to officer's arrival. An assault victim's statement was obtained and an assault report was generated.
On Sunday, 07/24/2011 at approximately 2256 hours, Reporting Officer J. Holcomb # 76 was radio dispatched to a business located at 111 Trinity Avenue. On arrival, I observed the glass on the front door was broken. After clearing the business, I made contact with a representative of the business who advised that it did not appear that anything was stolen from the business. Value of the damage to the glass at approximately $400.00. A report was made for Criminal Mischief 50-500.
