Weatherford Police Department News Blotter July 20, 2011

On Monday, July 18, 2011 I, Ofc. D. Feare #59, was dispatched to the Weatherford Police Department in reference to a theft. When I arrived I met with complainant Carson Brielle Green, who told me her debit card number was used without her consent to make a fraudulent purchase in the amount of $30. Green told me this was done by an unknown person sometime on July 12, 2011

On 07-19-11 at approx 0825 hrs I, Ofc Beniak was dispatched to 201 N. Bowie in reference to a stolen motorcycle. Upon my arrival I made contact with Jeffery Maxwell. Maxwell advised that an unknown person took his 2001 red Honda XR70R dirt bike worth approx $1100.00 off his front porch without his permission. The bike was taken between 07-18-11 1930 hrs and 07-19-11 0800 hrs. A theft report was taken.

On July 18, 2011 at approximately 1620 hours I, Ofc. T. Bramow 78 was dispatched to 115 Thrush in reference to a hit and run that had occurred earlier on this date. Upon arrival I made contact with Parker Anderson, wm, who advised me that he had been involved in an accident at 609 N Main St. He advised that a vehicle struck him as he was attempting to exit a parking space. The vehicle then left the scene without exchanging information. The suspect vehicle was a green in color 4 door passenger car. A report for Accident involving vehicle damage was taken.

On Tuesday, 07/19/2011 at approximately 1835 hours, Reporting Officer J. Holcomb # 76 was radio dispatched to contact a complainant via telephone in reference to a theft. Upon contact, I spoke with the complainant, one Lee, Brenton, w/m. Lee advised sometime between 0800 and 1000 hours on 07/18/2011 an unknown person(s) stole his IPod, valued at approximately $250.00. The IPod was located at 1675 Ft. Worth Hwy. at the time of theft. A report was made for Theft 50-500.

Officer E. Warren spoke with Mike Rhoten at the Weatherford Police Department. Mr. Rhoten reported that between 1800 hours on 07-19-2011 and 0800 hours on 07-20-2011, unknown person(s), used his credit card number to make three purchases in California, without his consent. An offense report for Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying information was taken.
