Sherrill Douglas portrays Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline in one performance

‘Once Upon a Dream’ plays at Texas Opry Theatre July 23

Sherill Douglas, known as the number one Patsy Cline impersonator in the world, will perform two shows on Saturday, July 23 at the Texas Opry Theatre in Weatherford.

Douglas will perform a “dream concert” that will feature her impersonation of Loretta Lynn in the first half of the show, and Patsy Cline after intermission.

The show will include many of Lynn’s hits like “Coal Miners Daughter,” “Fist City,” “You Ain’t Woman Enough,” “Don’t Come Home a Drinkin’ ,” “One’s on the Way” and “Blue Kentucky Girl.” Favorites from Cline will include “Crazy,” “Sweet Dreams,” “I Fall to Pieces” and “Walkin’ After Midnight.”

Douglas’ show, first performed in 2010, sold out theaters in Illinois and the Showroom at the Nugget Casino in Carson City, Nevada. It is the only show of its kind which honors and pays tribute to these two beloved country legends.
