Garland Greenlee
Garland was born and raised in Breckenridge, Texas and was a proud member of the Buckaroo Class of 1953. He played on the State Championship Football Team in 1952 and 1953. After retiring from the automobile business he was employed by the Breckenridge ISD as a bus driver and after moving to Fort Worth to be close to his children he was employed by the Aledo ISD and the children lovingly called him Mr. G.
He married Maurene Nunley on May 5, 1956 after they met in a drug store in Abilene. They were married over 25 years and remained close friends until her death in 2004. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Treva June Greenlee Prather.
Garland had a heart as big as Texas and would give you the shirt off of his back. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren and wrote in a class reunion paper that he had the best parents in the world.
