The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Friday 07-01-11 and Tuesday 07-05-11.
Theft:
07-01-11, 100 I-20 East, an employee of Target reported that at approx 10:20am store employees witnessed a female suspect leaving the business without paying for several items of clothing. The suspect was detained and later arrested by responding Officers for theft over $50.00, under $500.00.
07-01-11, 1100 Winona St, a complainant for Parker County Roofing reported that between 06-30-11 and 07-01-11 unknown suspect(s) had entered into a job site and stole approx 12 squares of Driftwood shingles.
07-02-11, 1200 Ft Worth Hwy, an employee of El Rey Taqueria reported that at approx 3:30pm two unknown male suspects had stolen a picture frame from the wall of the business. The complainant reported that the frame contained their Tax certificate and a twenty dollar bill framed together.
07-02-11, 900 S. Main St, an employee of Sam’s Mini Mart reported that at approx 3:30pm an unknown female suspect had stolen $200.00 from the business by taking the cash from the counter when the clerk was distracted.
07-02-11, 1700 Remington Circle, a complainant reported that between 07-01-11 and 07-02-11 a known guest at her residence had stolen a prescription medication upon her departure.
07-04-11, 1100 Lynn St, a complainant reported that between 11am and noon a known suspect had taken approx 20 towels and several Susan B Anthony silver dollars from his residence without his consent.
07-05-11. 1700 N. Rusk St, a complainant reported that between 8pm 07-04-11 and midnight 07-05-11 unknown suspect(s) had taken a Doberman pincher puppy from the back yard of her residence.
Burglary of a Vehicle
07-01-11, 700 Narrow St, a complainant reported that between 2:30pm and 2:40pm unknown suspect(s) had entered into a vehicle without permission and stole his wallet.
07-03-11, 300 E. Columbia St, a complainant reported that between 10:30am and 11:30am unknown suspect(s) had entered into his vehicle without permission and stole a laptop computer, GPS and a radar detector.
Criminal Mischief:
07-03-11, a complainant reported that between 11pm 07-03-11 and 11am 07-04-11 unknown suspect(s) had damaged a 2002 Jeep vehicle by placing two smoke bomb fireworks on the rear seat of the vehicle causing small burns to the seat covering and cushion.
Assault:
07-04-11, 1600 Remington Circle, a complainant reported that at approx 8pm during a disturbance with a female relative she was assaulted when the suspect struck her in the face with an open hand causing her physical pain.
