FM 1187 pavement overlay under way

Construction crews began work of overlaying pavement on FM 1187 today between I-20 and Bailey Ranch Road. The work will reduce the two-lane roadway to one lane at various locations. A pilot car will lead motorists through the work zone.

An announcement of the work, received late Friday from TxDot, said "We appreciate motorist’s patience while crews complete this maintenance work. During construction, alternate routes are encouraged."
