City implements voluntary water restrictionsCity of Hudson Oaks moves into Stage 1 (Voluntary) Water In response to seasonally dry weather and rising water demand, the City of Hudson Oaks has initiated Stage 1 (voluntary) water restrictions. The City projects that water demand levels will consistently rise over the next several weeks and continue through the next several months. The purpose of Stage 1 (voluntary) water restrictions is to raise the Public’s awareness of the need to conserve water and encourage responsible use. Residents and Businesses are voluntarily asked to conserve water by irrigating before 7 a.m. and after 7 p.m., changing water schedules to longer, less frequent intervals, and checking for leaks around their business or house. The City of Hudson Oaks Water Conservation Policy and information on how to conserve water can be found on the City Web site under the water conservation link, at www.HudsonOaks.com.
