Edward Dealecio

Recent Weatherford High School graduate Edward Dealecio was one of only 256 musicians selected as an Outstanding Performer at the 2011 Texas State Solo-Ensemble Contest.

Dealecio, a trombone player, was also selected as Outstanding Senior of the Roo Band during the 2010-11 school year.

Richard Floyd, Director of Music for the University Interscholastic League, sent Dealecio a recognition letter as well as a draped medal which is identical to those awarded to state champions in all UIL events.

Dealecio will be attending Weatherford College in the fall.a
