June 3, 2011 by Randy Keck

Parker County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating suspect(s) involved in a theft case of a local church.

Sheriff Larry Fowler said for the second time in less than a week, suspects stole air conditioning units from a church.

During the first incident, suspects stole five of eight air conditioning units from Holy Redeemer Church on Old Weatherford Road, May 26.

In an incident reported Wednesday, June 1, a church employee of Real Family Fellowship Church, located in the 200 block of Pearson Lane in Springtown, reported the suspects dismantled and stole four, five-ton air conditioning units, leaving the church with a loss of $10,000.

“Our investigators are diligently working these cases,” said Sheriff Fowler. “We are looking into any similarities to possibly connect the crimes. We encourage the public to call us immediately with any tips or information regarding either of these cases.”

Anyone with information may call the Parker County Sheriff’s Office at (817) 594-8845 or the Parker County Crime Stoppers Hotline at (817) 599-5555.
