Rev. B.E. Coker

Rev. B.E. Coker, 81, died on Monday, April 28, 2008, at home in Weatherford.
Bruce was born on May 3, 1926 in Honey Grove, the son of late Bruce and Pearl Coker. He was a retired minister of the Church of God and pastored at churches in Texas and Arizona. He graduated as Valedictorian of his class at Windom High School and attended Paris Junior College.
He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II.
Survivors include son, Ronald Coker and wife, Barbara, of Keller; daughters, Pamela Browning and husband, Gene of Cleveland, Tenn. and Regina Rudd and husband, Jackie, of Amarillo; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild; brother, Paul, of Devine; sister, Earline, of Denver, Col. and Juanita, of Baytown, and a host of loving family and friends.
Funeral service were held on Thursday, May 1, 2008, at North Main Church of God. Burial followed in East Greenwood Cemetery.
