BE IT KNOWN, the HONORABLE COMMISSIONERS COURT of PARKER COUNTY, TEXAS, will convene in a REGULAR MEETING at 9:00 A.M. on MONDAY the 14th day of APRIL 2008 in the COMMISSIONER COURTROOM on the FIRST FLOOR of the COURTHOUSE, ONE COURTHOUSE SQUARE, WEATHERFORD, TEXAS,

ROUTINE BUSINESS: (a.) 3. Proclamation:
a. April 14-18, 2008 as “National Crime Victims’ Rights Week” in Parker County. (Judge Riley)

4. Waive posting:
a. Receptionist position currently available in Sheriff’s office.

5. Approval:
Salary increase of one step for three Precinct #4 employees who have recently completed their jailer certification. (Jim Thorp/Jim Webster)
To purchase a cell phone using funds in Dept. 560 to be used exclusively for Special Operations. (Sheriff Fowler/Judge Riley)

6. Request:
Move Pct. #3 Constables office from current location in Annex to Veterans Administration office next door. (Glen Praytor/Judge Riley)
Upgrade the Sergeant position in Dept. 568/Transport to a Lieutenant position at a cost of $200.00 annually to supervise Dept. 566/Animal Control and Dept. 567/Courthouse Security. (Sheriff Fowler/Judge Riley)
To declare County property as surplus and authorize Purchasing Agent to include in the next on-line auction scheduled for May 12-30, 2008.

Authorization from Commissioner’s Court to accept the proposal from Voice Products, Inc. through HGAC Co-Op for $50,131.00 for the needed Voice and IP call recording system for the Parker County Sheriff’s office and jail.

a. Lease for Crown Castle for the tower rental located at 1810 Bethel Road.
b. Amended Order OR08-08A for the Cancellation of Comanche Ridge formally known as V-Bar Ranch and the cancellation of the subdivision V-Bar Ranch.

9. Pipeline permit:
a. Targa Intrastate Pipeline L.L.C., to bore under and lay a pipeline in the following County Road Right-of-Way in Precinct # 2: Turpin Lake Road. (Commissioner Brinkley)

10. Authorize County Judge to sign resolutions and tax resale deeds for the following:
a. Tax Resale Deed from Azle I.S.D. as Trustee to Dan Maxwell for $3,000.00 for the purchase of Lot 73, Canyon Valley Estates Addition, Parker County, Texas, being described in a Warranty Deed recorded in Volume 1698, Page 866, Real Records, Parker County, Texas. (122 Canyon Valley Lane)
