Weatherford-Parker County Special Crimes Unit investigators arrested three suspects in connection with an undercover narcotics trafficking investigation.
Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler said Breken Yuri Godbey, 20, offered to sell investigators a large quantity of MDMA (also known as Ecstasy). The suspect’s brother, identified as Braeden Nicholi Godbey, 22, also participated in the narcotics activity.
A traffic stop was conducted and Brecken Godbey, asked an undercover investigator to hold and conceal suspected marijuana and cocaine for him. Brecken Godbey was arrested and charged with two counts of manufacture delivery of a controlled substance.
A search warrant for the Godbey residence was conducted Tuesday, May 3, 2011, in the 1000 block of Shady Lane, in Springtown. During the search, investigators discovered suspected cocaine in Braeden Godbey’s possession and arrested him for possession of a controlled substance.
Also during the search, Katie Leanna Woods, 17, was arrested for fraud use possession of identifying information, for possessing a driver’s license which did not belong to her. The victim was contacted and confirmed to officers that her license was missing.
A truck belonging to Braeden Godbey, was seized along with suspected cocaine.
Sheriff Fowler said additional warrants for two individuals are pending the ongoing investigation.
As of Thursday morning, Brecken Godbey remained incarcerated on a $57,500 bond. Braeden Godbey was released from jail Wednesday after posting a $7,500 bond.
The case will be forwarded and filed with the Parker County District Attorney’s Office for consideration of prosecution.
