The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Friday 04-22-11 and Monday 04-25-11.

04-21-11, 2400 S. Main St, a complainant reported that between 6pm and 7pm an unknown suspect had stolen his cellular phone from a table in the restaurant while he was dining.

04-21-11, 1800 Ft Worth Hwy, an employee of Family Power Sports reported that between 04-16-11 and 04-21-11 unknown suspect(s) had entered into a fenced area of the business by defeating a lock on a gate. The complainant reported that the suspect(s) then stole two 800cc Polaris ATVs.

04-21-11, 1100 Ft Worth Hwy, a complainant reported that on 04-20-11 a cellular phone was lost in the parking lot of the convenience store and it was later determined that the phone was found by an unknown suspect who now refuses to return it to the owner.

04-22-11, 900 W. Park Ave, an employee of Mooney Construction reported that between 5:30pm 04-22-11 and8:00am 04-23-11 unknown suspect(s) entered onto the business property and stole several rolls of copper wiring and tools from four vehicles parked at the business.

04-22-11, 200 College Park Ave, an employee of College Park Apartments reported that between 04-18-11 and 04-22-11 unknown suspect(s) had stolen twelve 3”x15’ pieces of aluminum. The complainant reported that the items were being stored outside, close to the dumpster area.

04-22-11, 100 College Park Ave, an employee of Kids to Kids reported that at approx 10:30am an unknown female suspect left the business without paying for a pair of sunglasses.

04-22-11, 1500 Bankhead Dr, a complainant reported that on 04-13-11 an unknown suspect by unknown means obtained her banking account number and used the number without consent to pass a counterfeit check in another state.

Burglary of a Coin Operated Machine:
04-21-11, 150 Alford Dr, an employee of Motel 6 reported that at approx 10pm an unknown suspect was seen breaking into a vending machine. The complainant advised that when he attempted to confront the suspect, the suspect fled the building and left before he could be identified.

Burglary of a Habitation:
04-23-11, 200 E. 3rd St, a complainant reported that between 12 noon and 7pm unknown suspect(s) had entered into a residence without permission and stole a TV, video game system and a ring.

Criminal Mischief
04-23-11, 400 Hickory Lane, an employee of the Weatherford Animal Shelter reported that between 04-22-11 and 04-23-11 unknown suspect(s) had caused a substantial inconvenience for employees by opening the gates to several kennels and allowing five dogs to run loose.

04-21-11, 1200 Cherokee St, a complainant reported that on 04-19-11 at approx 11pm during a disturbance with her boyfriend she was assaulted when he grabbed her and placed his hand over her mouth in an attempt to her from yelling. The complainant reported that the confrontation caused her to fall resulting in physical pain.

Assault / Injury to a Child:
04-24-11, 200 Cherry St, at approx 2pm Officer were called to the 200blk of Cherry St in reference to an assault. On arrival Officer were advised by a 14 year old male victim that he had been assaulted by his 17 year old brother. The victim reported that his brother had struck him in the back with a closed fist resulting in physical pain. The suspect was detained and charged with assault-Injury to a Child.

Sexual Assault:
04-21-11, 800 Santa Fe Dr, a complainant contacted the Police Department and reported that between 3am and 7am she had been sexually assaulted while at her apartment. The complainant reported that her male roommate was the person that had assaulted her.
