The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Tuesday 04-19-11 and Wednesday 04-20-11.
Theft:
04-19-11, 300 W. Anderson St, a complainant reported that between 9pm 04-18-11 and 7am 04-19-11 unknown suspect(s) had stolen two boy’s bicycles from the front porch of the residence.
04-19-11, 100 I-20 East, an employee of Kohl’s Department Store reported that at approx 6pm store employees witnessed a female suspect leaving the business without paying for several items of clothing she had concealed in a large purse. The suspect was detained by store personnel who then contacted the Police. Responding Officers detained and charged a juvenile suspect with theft $50.00 to $500.00.
Burglary of a Habitation:
04-19-11, 100 W. 6th St, a complainant reported that between midnight and 12pm unknown suspect(s) had entered into her residence without permission and stole a digital camera.
Credit Card Abuse:
04-19-11, 900 S. Lamar St, a complainant reported that between 03-31-11 and 04-13-11 a known relative at stolen his credit card and used the card without his permission for several purchases within the city.
Criminal Mischief
04-19-11, 100 E Columbia St, a complainant reported at approx 6:15pm she had witnessed a male suspect attempting to break a window with a rock at the Weatherford Christian School facility. The complainant reported that she had interrupted the suspect who then fled the scene before the Police were contacted.
