The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Thursday 04-07-11and Friday 04-08-11.

04-07-11, 100 I-20 East, an employee of Target reported at approx 3:30pm two female suspects were seen attempting to leave the business without paying for several items of clothing that they had concealed under their own clothing. The suspects were detained by store employees until Police arrived at the scene. The suspects were arrested and charged with theft $50.00 to $500.00.

Fraudulent Use of Identifying Information:
04-07-11, 900 Norton St, a complainant reported that she had been contacted by her bank in reference to suspicious activity on her credit card account. Upon further investigation it was discovered that an unknown suspect by unknown means obtained her credit card number and used the number to make several unauthorized purchases in other States.

Criminal Mischief:
04-07-11, 800 W. Water St, a complainant reported that at approx 2pm while she was driving in the 800blk of W. Water St a known suspect driving another vehicle intentionally bumped into the rear of her vehicle causing damage to the bumper. The complainant advised that the incident was in regards to an on-going dispute between the suspect and her friends.

04-07-11, 200 Palo Pinto St, an employee of the First National Bank contacted the Police and reported that two unknown male suspects were at the bank attempting to cash suspicious checks. Responding officers contacted the suspects and through further investigation it was determined that the suspects were attempting to pass counterfeit checks to the Bank. The male suspects were arrested and charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity-Forgery.

04-07-11, 300 Jade Lane, a complainant reported that she had been receiving harassing and threatening telephone calls from a known female suspect.
