The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Monday 03-28-11 and Tuesday 03-29-11.

Theft:
03-28-11, 100 E. Josephine St, a complainant reported that at approx 3:30pm he witnessed two white male suspects remove a socket set from the bed of his pickup truck that was parked in front of his apartment. The complainant reported that he then chased the suspects in an attempt to recover his socket set. The complainant advised that upon catching the suspects a struggle ensued and he was then struck in the face by one of the male suspects which allowed the suspects to flee the area.

03-28-11, 100 I-20 East, an employee of Best Buy reported that on 03-26-11 at approx 7:30pm an unknown male suspect left the store without paying for two laptop computers.

03-28-11, 100 Mimosa St, a complainant reported that on 03-27-11 between 2:30pm and 5:00pm a known male suspect had stolen a prescription medication from her residence.

Criminal Mischief:
03-28-11, 300 W. Anderson St, a complainant reported that between 03-26-11 and 03-28-11 unknown suspect(s) had damaged a vehicle by scratching the paint with a sharp object.

Fraudulent Use of Identifying Information:
03-28-11, 200 S. Waco St, a complainant reported that he had discovered that on 03-26-11 an unknown suspect had used his credit card account number without permission for a purchase in another state.

03-28-11, 1700 Oliver St, a complainant reported that between 02-17-11 and 03-28-11 an unknown suspect by unknown means obtained his bank account number and used the number to pass counterfeit checks in another city.

Burglary of a Building:
03-28-11, 1200 Mineral Wells Hwy, an employee of Singletary Furniture reported that between 6pm 03-26-11 and 9am 03-28-11 unknown suspect(s) had forced open a door and entered into the business without consent. Once inside the building the suspect(s) stole an undetermined amount of currency and checks.
