The Weatherford FFA student organization traveled to Jacksboro for multiple Career Development Events (CDE) judging contests on March 3. The contests were highly attended from surrounding schools.
As many as 130 students competed in some of the contests. Weatherford FFA students brought home many awards.
In team competitions, all Weatherford teams placed in the top 10 with one exception. There were 13 students who placed in the top 10 for high individual scores. The results are as follows:
Range Contest - 3rd place team. High Individuals; Austin Ingram 13th, Ali Cantrell 14th, Lawson Preiss 17th, Koby Wulfjen 20th out of 69 students.
Livestock Contest - 10th place team. High Individual; Aidan Pool 18th out of 130 students.
Dairy Foods - 2nd place team. High Individuals; Courtney Hale 7th place, Tara Murray 11th place, Amanda Morris 18th out of 85 students.
Poultry - 2nd place team. High Individuals; Rachel Bedinger 2nd place, Tyler Pratt 12th place, Kaden Fowler 18th place out of 125 students.
Land Judging - 15th place team. High Individual; Tyler Miller 10th place out of 111 students.
