Lifetime Member of NRA and Community Activist to Speak to Bush Legacy Republican Women

Amy Clark, a Lifetime member of NRA and chair of the Republican Party Organization Committee of the SREC will be the speaker for Bush Legacy Republican Women when they meet at Doss Heritage Center on February 17th at 11:30 AM.Amy ClarkAmy Clark Amy Clark, a Dallas native attended DeSoto High School. She graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio with a degree in Anthropology. She also spent a semester in Florence, Italy, studying archaeology, art history and Italian.

Afterwards, Clark moved to the Washington, D.C., area to begin her career with the National Rifle Association. Upon moving back to Texas, she continued working with The NRA Foundation as a consultant.

On the political front, Clark served as a precinct chair shortly after her move to Live Oak County. Within two years of her arrival she was serving as County Chairman.

Clark now lives in Wilson County and has served as SD-21 State Republican Executive committeewoman since 2007. In that role, she works to expand and energize the Republican Party in South Texas. She currently serves and enjoys traveling her district and around the state presenting to the grassroots on messaging and communication, the legislative process, and getting out the vote.

In 2009, she was appointed to the Texas Radiation Advisory Board by Governor Perry and is serving a 6-year term as a public member.

Amy is married to Chase Clark, a wildlife consultant, and lives outside of Floresville. An NRA Life Member, Clark enjoys hunting and shooting in her “spare time.” She is currently relishing her time with her two young daughters, and hopes to pass her love of Dallas Cowboys football, the outdoors, and the U.S. Constitution to them both.
