The Parker County Crime Stoppers has issued the following Crime of the Week and we need your help in solving this crime.

On Thursday, 02/10/2011, at approximately 9pm, Weatherford Police Officers were dispatched to a possible home invasion at the 2200blk of Clear Lake Rd. Upon arrival, the victim advised that just a few minutes earlier, she had been resting in her living room when an unknown person rang her door bell. When she answered the door, she was physically assaulted when a male intruder, described as 5’6” tall, medium to slender build, wearing a grey ski mask, pushed through the front door as she answered. She said he grabbed her by the throat with one hand and was carrying an unidentified type handgun in the other. She began to scream and the intruder turned and fled from her house on foot.

The Weatherford Police Department encourages anyone who may have information on this crime or saw a suspicious person or vehicle in the area at the time of the crime to contact the department (817-598-4345) or CrimeStoppers immediately.

Up to a $1,000 reward will be paid for this information and you may remain anonymous.
