Dave Fuller, 81, passed away Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, in Fort Worth with his loving family by his side.
Service: 2 p.m. Thursday in White's Azle Chapel, 105 Denver Trail, Azle. Visitation: 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at White's Azle Funeral Home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the Fuller family requests contribution be made in Dave's name to the American Lung Association, Box 470773, Fort Worth, Texas 76147.
Dave was born to Arthur and Cora Miller Fuller in Sioux City, Iowa, on April 21, 1929, the 12th of 13 children. He honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps in the early 1950s.
He and Marilyn were married Jan. 13, 1990, in Louisiana. Dave was a wonderful husband and loved Marilyn's children as if they were his own.
He loved to fish, watch NASCAR and was very artistic. He was awarded the key to the city of New Orleans. Dave's father was an itinerant Pentecostal minister.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents and 10 siblings.
Survivors: Wife, Marilyn Fuller of Weatherford; daughter, Desiree Presley of Azle; sons, Steve Martin and wife, Geri, and Randy Martin, all of Louisiana; grandchildren, Janelle Ervin and husband, Daniel, David Martin, Ben Martin, Tiffany Alegria and Sabrina Gonzales and husband, Pito; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Cora Kinler of Louisiana; brother, Garland Fuller and wife of Colombia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
