Newly appointed District Judge Trey Edward Loftin will speak at the Parker County Republican Women’s meeting at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, at the Doss Heritage Center in Weatherford. A “Meet-and-Greet” will immediately follow the club meeting.
Loftin was appointed when 43rd District Judge Don Chrestman retired after serving two years of his four-year term. Loftin has extensive criminal and family law experience. While currently in private practice, he has worked in the felony trial division of the Tarrant County DA’s office; Texas Court of Criminal Appeals Judge Lawrence Meyers’ office and US District Judge Terry Kern’s office. Loftin received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University in Waco and his Juris Doctorate from The University of Tulsa College of Law serving as President Of Phi Delta Phi Honors Fraternity.
Trey is married to Jennifer Loftin and they have four young children, the oldest of which attends Stuard Elementary School in the Aledo ISD.
