Weatherford High School’s Whiz Quiz Team placed second in state by earning 1,290 points at the recent Knowledge Masters Open.
Last fall, approximately 627 high schools participated in event. Out of a possible 2000-point perfect score, the WHS Whiz Quiz team earned 1,290 points.

The Knowledge Masters Open is a computer-based semi-annual worldwide academic competition in which teams of students earn points by answering multiple-choice questions quickly and accurately. The questions includes fifteen subject areas: American history, world history, government, recent events, economics & law, geography, literature, English, math, physical science, biology, earth science, health & psychology, fine arts, and useless trivia.
Teams have 2 chances to answer each question and can earn points based upon the speed of their response.
