Weatherford Police Department News Blotter December 21, 2010

The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Monday 12-20-10 and Tuesday 12-21-10.

Theft:
12-20-10, 500 N. Main St, an employee of the U-Haul reported that between 12-18-10 and 12-20-10 unknown suspect(s) had stolen approx 30 gallons of diesel from a rental truck.

Burglary of a Coin Operated Machine:
12-20-10, 1000 N. Main St, an employee of LBC Car Wash reported that on 12-19-10 between 1am and 2am unknown suspect(s) had cut the locks off of several vending machines and stole an undetermined amount of coins.

Burglary of a Building:
12-20-10, 1800 S. Main St, an employee of the Goodwill Store reported that between 12-18-10 and 12-20-10 unknown suspect(s) entered into the building without permission and stole assorted loose change and other undetermined clothing items.

Robbery:
12-21-10, 2210 Old Dennis Rd, a complainant reported that at approx 1:40am an unknown suspect had entered into his Semi truck while he was sleeping inside. The complainant reported that the suspect reached into the cab of the truck and took a pair of pants containing his wallet. The complainant reported that he grabbed the suspect’s arm as he was exiting the truck and a short struggle took place before the suspect was able flee the scene. The complainant was not injured in the incident.
